Jatinder also volunteered with the North Peel & Dufferin Community Legal Services to assist in providing free legal services to low income residents in Peel region. Jatinder was also the President for a non-profit South Asian Youth initiative, the Kesri Ribbon Project.
Jatinder currently resides in Toronto with his wife, Enilum. They both have strong roots in Peel Region. Jatinder was born and raised in Brampton and Enilum immigrated to Canada from the UK at a young age and was raised in Brampton. Jatinder’s parents, Sardara and Kuldip Chera, reside in Brampton, and have lived and been actively involved in community development in the Brampton and Mississauga areas for over 30 years.
Jatinder is an avid business and current affairs reader. He is also a runner and enjoys running 5 km and 10 km races. Jatinder is actively involved in political life both at the provincial and federal levels.
